The Four Imams

The Four Imams introduces Imams Abu Hanifah, Malik, al-Shafi‘i and Ahmad ibn Hanbal through their lives, teachers, students, character and enduring contributions. Learners gain an accessible understanding of how scholarship was transmitted and why qualified scholars may reach different conclusions while sharing the same foundations. This is a biographical and educational course, not a place for learners to issue independent legal rulings. Teacher-led discussion keeps comparisons respectful, accurate and appropriate to the learner’s level. For learners aged 14+ and adults ready for an intermediate introduction to Islamic scholarship.
